Decision of the MK Pilkada 2024: 24 regions must be PSU, this is the list

JAKARTA (Antara) – The General Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) will follow up on the Decree of the Constitutional Court (MK) related to the dispute over the results of the 2024 Regional Head Election.

In its decision, the Constitutional Court stipulated that 24 regions must carry out re-voting (PSU), while 9 cases were rejected, 5 unacceptable, 1 case requires recapitulation, and 1 case must make improvements to the Decree of the General Election Commission (KPU).

Bawaslu was asked to supervise and coordinate in the implementation of PSU in affected areas. This decision is an important lesson for election organizers to ensure the election process takes place with direct, general, free, confidential, honest and fair principles (overflow and jurdil).

The following is a complete list of 24 regions that are required to hold a re -voting (PSU), 9 cases rejected by the Constitutional Court and 5 PHPU Kada cases reported through Website Officially the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia.

With this decision, Bawaslu together with the KPU will ensure that the entire PSU process and the next stages of the election will run in accordance with applicable legal provisions. The Constitutional Court’s decision is also a reminder for all election organizers to ensure that the election process takes place fairly and transparently.
