Vinanda Prameswati was born in Surabaya on June 12, 1998 and is now 26 years old. She is the daughter of a police officer, AKBP Edy Herwiyanto, who currently serves as Kasubdit Corruption Ditkrimsus East Java Regional Police, and her mother, Siskawati.

Since childhood, Vinanda received education in the city of Kediri. He finished his elementary school at SD Plus Rahmat, then continued to SMP Negeri 1 Kediri, and completed his secondary education at SMA Negeri 3 Kediri.

After graduating, he continued his studies at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya and won a bachelor’s degree in 2020. He did not stop there, he resumed his education to the Masters at Airlangga University, took the Masters Program, and successfully graduated in 2023.

Before plunging into the world of government, Vinanda was known to be active in various social and economic organizations of the community. He once served as Chairman of the Daily Daily Volunteer Suket Teki Nusantara (RSTN), a social institution that was quite influential in the city of Kediri.

In addition, he also led the Kediri City street vendor association and became Secretary of the East Java DPD Asperda Business Partner Management. Not only that, Vinanda was also listed as the Chairperson of the Sedulure Wong Cilik Kediri Association, which is engaged in the empowerment of small communities.

In the political field, Vinanda served as Deputy Chairman of the Golkar Party DPD in Kediri. Besides being active in social and political organizations, he also has a role in the world of sports by serving as chairman of the Indonesian Women’s Football Association in Kediri City.

In the 2024 elections, Vinanda ran for the Mayor of Kediri for the 2024-2029 period, paired with KH Qowimuddin Thoha or who is familiarly called Gus Qowim. The couple is supported by a large coalition consisting of the Golkar, Democratic, PKB, PDIP, Gerindra, Hanura, PKS, and a number of non-parliament parties.

In the election, Vinanda and Gus Qowim competed with the pair Ferry Silviana Feronica – Regina Suwono. After going through the election process, the General Election Commission (KPU) of Kediri City finally set Vinanda Prameswati and KH Qowimuddin Thoha as Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Kediri elected for the 2024-2029 period.
