JAKARTA (Antara) – State Intelligence College (STIN) is an official school that provides opportunities for high school students to become part of the State Intelligence.

Under the auspices of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), Stin is committed to being an educational agency that prints professional secret agents for the state.

Thus, students who graduated from STIN the opportunity to be immediately appointed as the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) who were ready to be in charge of maintaining security and national defense.

Before becoming a STIN student, in 2025 prospective participants needed careful preparation to meet the requirements and face a strict examination, physical, and mental test.

Stin has thousands of enthusiasts with a limited amount of revenue, so the participants must face fierce competition to meet the criteria in the process of receiving STIin.

After meeting the requirements, the registrants will continue to the selection stage. The following is an explanation of the stages of the selection of STIin acceptance to filter out the cadets who are ready to serve as security and national defense intelligence.

Stin selection stages 2025

1. Administrative selection

The main selection stage is to fill out the form and upload the required files. After the registration is closed, all personal data and files of registrants will be selected and verified by the committee. For registrants who meet the requirements, they will pass the administrative selection stage.

2. Basic Competency Test (TKD)

This test usually uses a paint system (Computer Assisted Test) With the National Insight Test (Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, Indonesian Intelligence History), General Intelligence Tests (Mathematical Logic, Verbal Analogy, Image Series), and Personal Characteristics Tests (Integrity Assessment, Team Cooperation, Leadership).

3. Fitness test

Fitness tests are carried out in the form of physical tests adjusted to the criteria of women or men. All participants need to meet the minimum standard results as follows.

Woman

• Run 12 minutes, at least take 2.0 km
• Push-ups 20 times in 1 minute (done with knees as a pedestal)
• Sit-up 25 times in 1 minute with the position of the hand on the chest

Man

• Run 12 minutes, at least take 2.4 km
• Push-up 30 times in 1 minute without pause
• Sit-up 30 times in 1 minute with the hand position behind the head
• Pull-up at least 10 times with perfect techniques

4. Psychological test

Psychological tests are conducted to assess mental stability, emotional intelligence, and participants’ psychological readiness. This psychological test consists of newspaper tests, pictures of people or trees (baum), and personality tests.

5. Interview

This stage is one of the most important parts in the Stin selection. Participants who pass the competency and physical test will face in -depth interviews related to commitment, motivation, and integrity they want to join Stin.

6. Health examination

For participants advanced to this stage, the results of the health check -up were determined to be successful or failed in the selection of this STIN acceptance. In general, examination is carried out in the form of blood checks, x -rays, hearing tests, and others.
