The KPK named two new suspects in the Harun Masiku series of cases, namely the Secretary General of the PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto (HK) and Donny Tri Istiqomah (DTI).
The determination of Donny Tri Istiqomah as a suspect is contained in the Investigation Order or sprindik number: Sprin.Dik/154/DIK.00/01/12/2024, dated 23 December 2024.
Donny Tri Istiqomah is an advocate, as well as a Bankruptcy Curator & Legal Drafter. He studied as a graduate of the Faculty of Law, Jember University.
Donny is also recorded as having registered as a legislative candidate (candidate) for the People’s Representative Council (DPR) from the PDIP faction in the East Java IV electoral district (dapil) in the 2019 elections. Donny also serves as a PDIP advocate.
Previously, in 2020 Donny was questioned several times as a witness by the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) in a series of sting operations (OTT) against former General Election Commission (KPU) commissioner Wahyu Setiawan.

The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) has also questioned Donny regarding the studies he compiled in filing a lawsuit with the Supreme Court (MA) regarding PAW.
Now, Donny Tri Istiqomah’s status has been declared a suspect by the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) together with PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto (HK) in the alleged bribery case involving Harun Masiku to bribe member of the General Election Commission (KPU) for the 2017-2022 period, Wahyu Setiawan. The KPK found evidence of Donny’s involvement as Hasto’s confidant.
“The DTI suspect together with Harun Masiku and his friends gave a gift or promise to Wahyu Setiawan,” said KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto at the KPK’s Red and White Building, Jakarta, Tuesday (24/12).
KPK Chairman Setyo explained that in this case, Hasto managed and controlled Donny to lobby KPU member Wahyu Setiawan to appoint Harun Masiku as the elected member of the DPR RI from Electoral District I of South Sumatra.

Hasto also controlled Donny to actively take and deliver bribes to be handed over to Wahyu Setiawan through PDIP cadre Agustiani Tio Fridelina.
“HK together with Harun Masiku, Saeful Bahri, and DTI bribed Wahyu Setiawan and Agustiani Tio Fridelina amounting to 19,000 Singapore dollars and 38,350 US dollars in the period 16 December 2019-23 December 2019 so that Harun Masiku could be appointed as a member of the DPR RI for the period 2019-2024 from Electoral District I of South Sumatra,” said Setyo.

However, Harun Masiku has always been absent from investigators’ summons, and has now been a fugitive from the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) or on the wanted list (DPO) since January 2020.
