Latest ASN clothing rules, official guidelines from the Ministry of Basic Education

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Kemendikdasmen (Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education) is one of the ministries of the Indonesian Government which operates in the education sector. Recently, the Ministry of Basic Education has issued its latest regulations regarding employee clothing requirements.

On November 8 2024, in an effort to increase tidiness and follow the dynamics of work culture, the Ministry of Education and Culture issued Circular Letter Number 15 of 2024 concerning the Use of Employee Work Clothes.

Official clothing is often used as a symbol for ASN (State Civil Apparatus) as state servants. By wearing an official uniform, the public can easily recognize that the employee is from the government on duty.

These work clothing regulations have a complex aim in creating a work atmosphere that is more comfortable, professional and in line with credibility and applicable work values. So that in the future employees will no longer wear khaki colored official clothes.

What are the latest ASN uniform rules? The following is related to the rules for changing ASM uniforms to new colors in accordance with the circular from the Ministry of Basic Education.

Latest ASN clothing regulations

1. Monday

Every employee is required to wear clothing that combines white and black (dark), including:

a. Top: white clothes.

b. Bottoms: dark colored trousers or skirt, but still neat and polite.

c. Employee identification must be worn as official identification during working hours.

2. Tuesday to Friday

Employees are allowed to wear casual clothing, but must still maintain neatness and modesty according to the work environment. Moreover, this aims to create a flexible work environment but must still comply with ethics. And all employees are required to wear identification while on duty.

3. Flag Ceremony Day

During the flag ceremony, every employee is required to wear the clothing stated in the invitation letter.

From the results of this overall overhaul of the clothing used by ASN to be able to adapt to the equality of each applicable agency, both PNS and PPPK. Because by wearing free clothing but still complying with government regulations, this creates equal equality.

The latest ASN official uniforms provide a new color in the world of government, usually every employee wears khaki colored clothes and now a circular has appeared regarding the latest policy, the color of the official uniform has changed to only white shirts combined with dark colored bottoms.
