Wealth of Said Abdullah, chairman of the DPR RI Budget Agency

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Said Abdullah set a record as the legislative candidate with the highest number of votes in Indonesia, he collected 528,815 votes in the East Java XI electoral district for the 2024-2029 period.

As a member of the DPR RI who has served four consecutive terms and currently serves as Chair of the DPR Budget Committee, the assets he owns are no less striking than the number of votes he won in the election.

Said Abdullah’s assets can be seen from the LHKPN data he reported. This is part of his obligations as a member of the DPR RI.

LHKPN or State Officials’ Wealth Report is a report that must be submitted by state officials regarding the assets they own when they first take office, transfers, promotions and retirement.

Another obligation that accompanies the LHKPN is declaring assets and being willing to carry out an inspection of assets. The obligation to submit LHKPN for state officials is part of the KPK’s efforts to prevent criminal acts of corruption.

Referring to the State Administrator’s Wealth Report (LHKPN) submitted by Said Abdullah on March 29 2024 for the 2023 period, his total wealth was recorded at IDR 101.9 billion. This wealth is divided into a number of different types of assets. Here are the details of his reported wealth:

A. Land and buildings:

Said Abdullah owns 37 land and building assets spread across various regions as follows:

• 8 land and building assets in South Jakarta with a total asset value of IDR 20,392,656,000
• 22 land and building assets in Sumenep with a total asset value of: IDR 4,387,669,779
• 3 land and building assets in Surabaya with a total asset value of: IDR 24,234,976,312
• 3 land and building assets in Cilacap with a total asset value of: IDR 1,496,598,000
• 1 land and building asset in Depok with a total asset value of: IDR 2,500,000,000

Total asset value of land and buildings: Rp. 66,587,528,091

B. Transportation equipment and machines

Total asset value: IDR 1,325,000,000

• Fortuner Jeep (2016), own results: IDR 100,000,000
• Lexus Minibus (2020), own proceeds: IDR 600,000,000
• Jeep Fortuner car (2023), own results: IDR 625,000,000.

C. Other movable assets: Rp. 1,585,000,000

D. Securities: Rp. 45,200,000,000

E. Cash and cash equivalents: Rp. 21,000,868,868

F. Other assets: Rp. 779,049,597

Sub total: Rp. 136,477,446,556

Debt: IDR 34,500,000,000

Thus, the total wealth reported by Said Abdullah after deducting debts (assets – debts) is equal to Rp. 101,977,446,556 which includes various types of assets ranging from land and buildings, securities to vehicles and cash. It is hoped that this transparency can become an example in realizing clean and accountable governance for state administrators.
