How rich is Yermias Bisai, Deputy Governor of Papua? Here are the details
Jakarta (ANTARA) – Yermias Bisai, who previously served as Regent of Waropen, is now running as Deputy Governor of Papua in the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada).
In this Governor’s election, he accompanied Benhur Tomi Mano as a candidate for Deputy Governor of Papua. The Benhur Tomi Mano-Jermias Bisay (BTM-YES) pair has received full support from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P), which is nominating them in the 2024 Papua regional elections.
As a candidate for public office, Yermias Bisai has fulfilled his obligations by submitting the State Administrator’s Wealth Report (LHKPN). LHKPN is a mandatory report for state officials regarding the assets they own, whether when they first take office, transfer, promotion or retirement. This is part of efforts to prevent criminal acts of corruption initiated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
Referring to the LHKPN submitted by Yeremias Bisai on August 28 2024, his total wealth was recorded at IDR 5.15 billion. Here are the details of his reported wealth:
A. Land and buildings
Total: Rp. 4,250,000,000
- 100 m² land in Yapen Waropen Regency/City, own proceeds: IDR 250,000,000
- Land and building area of 500 m²/250 m² in Jayapura City, own proceeds: Rp. 2,000,000,000
- Land covering an area of 50,000 m² in Waropen Regency/City, own proceeds: IDR 2,000,000,000
B. Transportation equipment and machines:
Total: Rp. 840,000,000
- Ship/boat (without speed boat, 2013), personal income: IDR 200,000,000
- Toyota Avanza Type G (2016), personal proceeds: IDR 120,000,000
- Ship/boat (without long boat, 2022), own proceeds: IDR 120,000,000
- Ship/boat (speed boat, 2021), own proceeds: IDR 400,000,000
C. Other movable assets: Rp. 55,500,000
D. Cash and cash equivalents: Rp. 10,000,000
Yermias Bisai’s State Administrator’s Wealth Report (LHKPN) shows that he has no debt, so the total wealth he has is equal to IDR 5,155,500,000. This wealth includes various types of assets, from land and buildings, vehicles to cash and cash equivalents. It is hoped that this transparency can become an example in realizing clean and accountable governance for prospective regional leaders.
