Profile of Agus Joko Pramono, new leader of the KPK for the 2024-2029 period
Jakarta (ANTARA) – Agus Joko Pramono has joined the leadership of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) as deputy chairman for the 2024–2029 period.
Agus Joko Pramono was elected to the leadership of the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) based on voting conducted by Commission III DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Thursday (21/11/2024). From the results of these calculations, he received 38 votes which made him deputy chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission.
Apart from Agus, there were four new KPK leaders who received the most votes through the voting, namely Johanis Tanak, Ibnu Basuki Widodo, Fitroh Rohcahyanto as Deputy Chair of the KPK and Setyo Budiyanto as Chair of the KPK.

Previously, Agus Joko Pramono served as deputy chairman of the Financial Audit Agency (BPK) for the 2019-2023 period. He started his career as a lecturer and entered the BPK environment in the 2013-2018 period.
In 2013-2014, Agus Joko Pramono became Member III of the BPK in charge of auditing the management and responsibility of state finances in the fields of state institutions, people’s welfare, state secretariat, state apparatus, and research and technology.
In 2014-2018, Agus Joko Pramono became Member II of the BPK in charge of auditing the management and responsibility of state finances in the field of economics and national development planning.
Agus Joko Pramono also serves as Commissioner of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi and he was also elected as the Board of Trustees of the University of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 period last March.
