Details of the assets of Michael Wattimena, Deputy Governor of Maluku at LHKPN


Jakarta (ANTARA) – Democratic Party politician, Michael Wattimena, has officially run as a candidate for deputy governor to accompany Murad Ismail as governor in the 2024 Maluku Province Regional Head Election (Pilkada).

Michael Wattimena is a politician from the Democratic Party who served as a Member of the DPR-RI for two terms, namely from 2009 to 2019, representing the West Papua electoral district.

Apart from that, he also served as General Chair of the Indonesian Christian Young Movement (GAMKI) DPP for the 2011-2014 term.

As part of the regional head election process, transparency regarding the assets of candidates for public office is an important step to maintain and build trust in the community. This shows his commitment to the obligation of transparency by reporting details of his assets to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), through the State Administrators’ Wealth Report (LHKPN).

The report not only shows Michael Wattimena’s compliance with applicable regulations, but also illustrates his commitment to the principle of transparency that a regional leader should have.

In the LHKPN he reported as of August 26 2024, Michael Wattimena detailed the various assets he owned, with his total wealth reaching IDR 4,538,034,150.

The report includes various assets, such as property, vehicles, other movable assets, as well as savings in the form of cash. Interestingly, in the report submitted, it was noted that he had no debt obligations.

The following are details of the assets of the candidate for Deputy Governor of Maluku, Michael Wattimena, according to records in the LHKPN.

Michael Wattimena’s assets

1. Land and buildings

In the State Officials’ Wealth Report (LHKPN) which he has reported, he is recorded as having assets in the form of land and buildings with a total value of Rp. 1,800,000,000these assets are spread across two areas, namely:

• Building with an area of ​​38 m² located in Central Jakarta, with a personal acquisition value of IDR 500,000,000.

• Land and buildings covering an area of ​​362 m² and 200 m² located in South Jakarta, were acquired independently for IDR 1,300,000,000.

2. Transportation equipment and machines

It is known in his report that the total assets owned by Michael Wattimena, from assets in the form of transportation equipment and machinery, amount to IDR 1,502,000,000. These assets include cars and motorbikes, including:

• 2009 Toyota Alphard Minibus, acquired independently for IDR 400,000,000.

• 2010 Honda motorbike, self-acquired worth IDR 2,000,000.

• 2014 Lexus Jeep LX750, independently owned with a value of IDR 1,100,000,000.

3. Other movable assets

In his report in the other movable assets section, the assets owned by Michael Wattimena are worth IDR 956,000,000.

4. Securities: No records reported.

5. Cash and cash equivalents

Michael Wattimena has cash savings or cash equivalents Rp. 280,034,150.

6. Other assets: No records reported.

7. Debt: No records reported.

Based on his report from these details, the assets owned by Michael Wattimena since the report was received, without including securities, other assets, and without any record of debt, totaled up to IDR 4,538,034,150 (four billion five hundred thirty eight million thirty four thousand one hundred and fifty rupiah)
