The assets of Bobby Nasution, candidate for Governor of North Sumatra in the 2024 regional elections
Jakarta (ANTARA) – The former Mayor of Medan, Bobby Nasution, who is now running as a candidate for Governor of North Sumatra (North Sumatra) in the 2024 regional elections, has reported his wealth reaching billions of rupiah. Based on the State Administrator’s Wealth Report (LHKPN) as of March 21 2024, Bobby’s total wealth was recorded at IDR 57,552,729,408 or the equivalent of IDR 57.55 billion.
In his report to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), the assets of Bobby, who is also the son-in-law of the former 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo, are dominated by property assets, luxury vehicles and a number of other movable assets. Property is the largest contributor, consisting of land and buildings spread across various strategic locations.
It is known that the 2024 North Sumatra Governor Election (Pilgub) has also attracted public attention, especially with the presence of the son-in-law of the former 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia as one of the gubernatorial candidates. It is known that the North Sumatra gubernatorial election was attended by two pairs of candidates for governor and deputy governor, namely Muhammad Bobby Afif Nasution-Surya and Edy Rahmayadi-Hasan Basri Sagala.
