Muhamad Herindra Chairman of BIN’s assets based on LHKPN data


Jakarta (ANTARA) – Lt. Gen. TNI Ret. Muhamad Herindra has occupied the position of Chairman of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) in the Red and White Cabinet led by President Prabowo. Before holding this ministerial level position, Muhamad Herindra was Deputy Minister of Defense, who accompanied Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto for the 2020-2024 period.

The man who was born in Magelang, 30 November 1964, has a long military career background. In 2013-2014 Muhamad Herindra was Deputy Commander General of Kopassus, in 2015-2016 he served as Commander General of Kopassus, and in 2016-2017 as Commander III Siliwangi.

The best alumni of the Military Academy graduates continued to advance their careers, in 2017-2018 Muhamad Herindra was trusted to be a Level III Expert Staff Officer for International Relations of the TNI Commander, in 2018-2020 as Inspector General of the TNI, in 2020 he was elected as Chief of the TNI General Staff, in 2020-2024 was elected as Deputy Minister of Defense, and now serves as Chairman of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) for the 2024-2029 period, replacing the retired Police General. Based on the State Administrator’s Wealth Report (LHKPN) on the submission date of 5 April 2024 periodically 2023, Muhamad Herindra is recorded as having total assets reaching IDR 23,463,716,345 or around IDR 23.4 billion.

These assets include various assets he owns and it was observed that Herindra’s largest assets include four lands and buildings in South Jakarta, East Jakarta and Bogor with a total value of IDR 16 billion.

Apart from that, Herindra’s assets include a Toyota Alphard car worth IDR 661 million. Then, there are other movable assets amounting to IDR 344 million, cash and cash equivalents worth IDR 6 billion, and other assets amounting to IDR 580 million.
