Profile of Zita Anjani, special presidential envoy from the millennial generation


Jakarta (ANTARA) – Zita Anjani officially serves as Special Presidential Envoy for Tourism in the Red and White Cabinet supported by the government of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Zita Anjani is one of the seven Special Presidential Envoys appointed by President Prabowo Prabowo, at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday (22/10).

The Special Presidential Envoy is responsible for carrying out certain tasks assigned by the President outside of the tasks already covered in the organizational structure of ministries and other government agencies.

As Special Presidential Envoy for Tourism, Zita Anjani will be tasked with assisting the President in strengthening the tourism sector.

Zita Anjani is a politician who entered the world of politics by becoming a PAN cadre.

The woman born in Jakarta on March 12 1990 is the second daughter of the General Chair of PAN, Zulkifli Hasan. Zita Anjani currently serves as one of the Chairs of the Central Leadership Council (DPP).

Before being appointed as Special Presidential Envoy, Zita Anjani served as a member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD and was successfully elected for 2 terms, namely 2019-2024 and 2024-2029.

He served as Deputy Chair of the DKI Jakarta DPRD. However, Zita Anjani has resigned from her position as a DPRD member after being appointed as Special Presidential Envoy.

Zita Anjani is also active in organizations in the world of education, she is the founder and Chair of the Kids Republic School Foundation located in East Jakarta and Bekasi, Chair of the National High School Foundation in Lampung, and the Board of Trustees of Bunda Pintar Indonesia, a non-profit organization that become a forum for PAUD teachers.

Apart from that, she has also served on the National Mandate Women’s Central Executive Board, the Regional Leadership Council of the DKI Jakarta National Mandate Party.

In terms of education, Zita Anjani graduated from Pelita Harapan University, then continued her studies at University College London (UCL), England and earned a Master of Science degree. She also has a Diploma from Sunshine Teachers Training (Diploma Montessori Education).
